Frequently asked questions

What is Suikamon?

Suikamon is a free pet adventure: raise and evolve your own companion, battle other trainers in turn-based PvP, and discover rare Suikamon in eggs.

How do I get my first Suikamon?

Tap Play Free and pick one of the Common starters. It arrives as an egg — warm it, hatch it, and start caring for it. No payment, no download.

How do I sign up?

Sign in with your email — a one-tap link or a 6-digit code. Your progress, pets and rewards stay tied to your account, and a pet you started as a guest comes with you.

How do I get more Suikamon?

Every trainer starts with one free Common. Every 10 levels your Suikamon finds an egg, and ranked trophy tiers pay Soul Shards toward finding more — Rare, Epic and Legendary Suikamon hatch only from eggs.

How do living companions work?

Your Suikamon's profile evolves with every level. As it levels up, trains, and reaches new evolution stages, its stats and visual appearance update automatically, creating a truly living companion.

What is Suika?

Suika is your pouch: one balance for all your Suikamon. Care, battles and skills cost a little of it; battle chests, the campaign and a daily reward pay it back, and when it runs low you can refill it for free. Owning a Suikamon costs nothing on its own.

Is Suikamon really free to play?

Yes — the whole game is free. As a guest you get the full care loop, hatch at level 2 and play through World 1 Zone 1; your level display caps at 3 and campaign progress at the end of Zone 1 (XP keeps accruing). Sign up free and your pet keeps going with no caps.

What is the Suikamon campaign?

Campaign is the single-player story mode, The Last Souls. The island's Soul, a great glowing string hung over its oldest hearth, snapped into 19 pieces, each hidden inside a different kind of Suikamon, and the island is slipping out of balance. Travel through ten worlds, battle rival squads, bring all 19 Soul Shards home to make Suikara whole, and find out why the Soul cracked, while earning XP for your team. You can browse the map before signing in, and free players can try the opening zone.

How do PvP battles work in Suikamon?

PvP battles are turn-based: each round both trainers pick one of four moves — Attack, Magic, Dodge or Recover — and may back it with cards from their hand. The cards decide who wins the exchange. Battles continue until one pet's HP reaches zero.

What are the elemental advantages in battle?

Every Suikamon has one of four elements — Fire, Water, Nature or Thunder — and elements counter each other, so a good matchup tilts the fight in your favour. The Battle Cards page shows the full matchup table.

Can I play PvP without signing up?

Yes! Training battles need no account and no Suikamon — arrive with nothing and you can pick a free starter right there, then practise turn-based combat.

What are Training battles?

Training is the free practice mode: fight AI opponents with your Suikamon, learn the four moves and the card hand, and earn XP with no penalty for losing.

What are Trial Battles?

Trial Battles let you practice PvP with your Suikamon against AI opponents. Each victory awards 20 XP to your pet, helping them level up and evolve. Trial battles are free to play, and there's no penalty for losing, so it's perfect for training.

How do Ranked Battles work?

Ranked Battles are competitive PvP matches against other players' pets. You're matched based on Trophy rating. Ranked battles are free to play! Wins award 40 XP and increase your Trophies, while losses decrease Trophies. Climb the leaderboard to prove your Suikamon is the strongest!

What is the Trophy rating system?

Trophies are Suikamon's competitive ranking system. All players start at 1200 Trophies. Win ranked battles to gain Trophies and climb the leaderboard. Your Trophy count determines matchmaking and displays your competitive standing.

How does battle matchmaking work?

In Ranked mode, you're matched with opponents who have similar Trophy ratings for fair battles. The system finds opponents within a Trophy range to ensure competitive matches.

What is Campaign Mode?

Campaign is Suikamon's single-player PvE story, "The Last Souls," told across ten worlds — 128 rival battles in two acts. The island's Soul, a great glowing string hung over its oldest hearth, snapped into 19 pieces, and each piece hid inside one Suikamon species: the 19 Last Souls, each a world finale or featured mini-boss. Bring all 19 home and the island is whole and back in balance. Every soul you save entrusts you Soul Shards of its species (5 on the first clear, 1 per daily repeat win). Act I (Worlds 1–5) has you remember the island's Guardians; Act II (Worlds 6–10) chases the First Keeper to the finale at the First Shore. Every campaign fight is capped at level 20, the same ceiling as PVP and Trial, so a later world is harder for its squad size, its evolution ladder and its cards rather than a level you cannot out-level. Squad battles ramp from 1v1 to 3v3, every win earns XP for your squad (first-clear XP scales up with each world), and you can browse all ten worlds at /campaign before signing in.
